“Good artists copy, great artists steal”

My work began with bold, color-rich oil paintings and a long-standing love of surrealism. In recent years, I have explored a variety of expressive methods, including geometric patterns, sponge marks, painting on ceramics, and paper-cutting. About ten years ago, I began working with ink painting, which is in complete contrast to oil painting. I am deeply drawn to its simplicity, the serene monochrome palette, and the profound, introspective world it creates. When I paint with ink, I often experience a state of concentration akin to meditation.

My creative process is also a means of reflecting the feelings, thoughts, and observations from my daily life. Through each piece, I aim to engage with my inner world and give form to the sensations and ideas I wish to share with viewers.
